Review of “Dark Divide”

Dark Divide: A Cormac and Amelia Story

Dark Divide: A Cormac and Amelia Story by Carrie Vaughn

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Dark Divide starts another great series from one of my favorite authors.

Vaughn sends the former werewolf hunter and his spiritual hitchhiker to investigate strange occurrences associated with the Donner Party. (Can a story about Colorado’s own cannibal Alfred Packer be in the future?) You know evil is present with Cormac and Amelia on the hunt. As usual, Vaughn’s description of the wilderness are brief, but with enough detail to envision the terrain.

Although they got their start in the Kitty Norville series, you don’t need to have read those to jump into this series. The necessary details are already there.

Fortunately, readers won’t need to wait long since the sequel “
Badlands Witch: A Cormac and Amelia Story” is already planned for release on November 12, 2019, and can be pre-ordered on Amazon.
